How to factory reset (from system)?

Factory reset erases all user data – back up first. Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).

How to reset if the system cannot boot normally?

If you cannot access Settings to factory reset, you can wipe data in REC mode. Steps: (1) Press and hold power, select “Restart”, then immediately press and hold volume up until “no command” appears, then release. (2) Press power + volume up together to enter Android Recovery. (3) Use volume down to select “Wipe data/factory reset”, confirm with power. (4) After completion, use volume up to select “Reboot system now”, confirm with power. (This clears all user data.)

How long can I return after purchase? What are the conditions?

You can return your product for any reason within 30 days from the date of purchase:

  • The product must be returned with all accessories.
  • The item must be in its original packaging.
  • The item must be free from any signs of use.
  • If the product has no issues and the customer wants to return it for personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

A: This means your bank has declined the transaction directly. Shopify Payments can sometimes trigger false declines for cross-border transactions from certain countries.

  2. Use an alternative payment method.
I have placed an order and paid via PayPal, and I have the transaction code. Why hasn't the payment been successful?

PayPal may have processed your payment, but the store didn’t receive the confirmation callback yet. Your PayPal payment might be in “Pending / Under Review,” there may be a delay between PayPal and the store’s payment gateway, or the payment might be held by PayPal’s fraud-protection system.

1. Some customers have this issue on mobile but can pay successfully on desktop.

No computer? Try clearing your mobile browser cache:

Open browser → Menu → Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached images/files → Clear

Payment Failed: error message: Error from Oceanpayment (direct) - 80010: Transaction Do Not Honour.

This is usually caused by your bank’s security system blocking the transaction. Please call your bank or try another card. Some of our Australian customers have experienced this before—because it’s an international purchase, their bank wanted to confirm the payment first. After they contacted the bank and confirmed the transaction was legitimate, the payment went through successfully.

As an EU member state resident, do I need to pay tariffs?

Under the EU customs union, tariffs are eliminated among member states, so packages from Germany to EU countries generally incur no customs duties.Most of our products are shipped from the nearest warehouse in Germany, Spain, Australia, Canada, the United States, or the United Kingdom. Only a very small number of out-of-stock products will be shipped from China or Hong Kong.If you are located in a non-EU country, please check on your own whether you need to pay customs duties.

Which network operators are supported?

Do the phones support the network carriers in my country?

8849 rugged phones and rugged tablets are global unlocked devices, suitable for use almost in all countries. They support multiple global languages (you can set them yourself) and work with most major international carriers.

e.g. In the USA: Our rugged smartphones and rugged tablets are compatible with Verizon (including TracFone, Straight Talk, etc.) and T-Mobile (including Mint, etc.). Compatibility with other U.S. carriers is not guaranteed and may vary depending on local network coverage and supported bands. If it does not work, please contact our customer service team for guidance and instructions to resolve the issue.

Do 8849 phones connect to Australian networks?

Australian law requires phones to support VoLTE emergency calling, so just turn on VoLTE and it’s solved.

Is 8849 phone/tablet resistant to saltwater, seawater, or chlorinated water?

8849 phone/tablet’s water resistance is tested in freshwater. Saltwater, seawater, and common chlorinated water (e.g., diluted disinfectants, pool water, bleaching powder solution, chlorine dioxide solution, chloramine solution) are corrosive. Contact may corrode metal parts, cause button malfunctions, or damage circuit boards. The device’s water resistance does not protect against such corrosive liquids.If the phone/tablet gets into such liquids, immediately take it out, turn it off, rinse with freshwater, wipe dry, and air-dry (do not power on or use high heat to dry).
Note: Such damage is considered improper use and not covered by warranty.

Is the 8849 phone/tablet sandproof and dustproof?

Although 8849 phones have undergone rigorous waterproof and dustproof testing for industrial and harsh outdoor environments, sand can easily get into the fan and damage it. Do not throw the phone into a bucket/pool, sandpit, or perform extreme tests to avoid damage.

Yes, multi - language supported, switch freely.

Are your devices (phones/tablets) unlocked versions?

Our phones and tablets are all unlocked versions, supporting major carriers in countries around the world and not tied to any specific carrier.

What kind of cell phones do you make?

We make a variety of cell phones, including smartphones and basic phones. Our smartphones range from mid-range to high-end models with advanced features such as multiple cameras, high-resolution displays, and fast processors. Our basic phones are simple and reliable, with essential features such as calling and texting.

What's the maximum expandable storage for 8849 phone?

All 8849 phones support expandable storage up to 2TB.

What operating system do your smartphones run on?

Our smartphones run on the Android operating system.

Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on your cell phones?

Yes, we offer a limited warranty on all of our cell phones. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period of time. We also offer extended warranties and insurance plans for additional coverage.

How do I transfer data from my old phone to a new phone?

You can transfer data from your old phone to your new phone using a variety of methods, including cloud storage, a USB cable, or a transfer app. Consult your user manual or contact customer support for more information.

How do I troubleshoot issues with my cell phone?

Do i need to purchase shipping protection or product protection insurance?

If you use the product for daily purposes, there is no need to buy. If you use the product in harsh environments, you can purchase the extended product protection insurance. Once the product is damaged, you can file a claim with the insurance company for compensation.

What's the maximum expandable memory card capacity for the phone?

All the phones support up to 2TB, but a genuine brand card is required.

Troubleshooting

My tank 4 pro's fan isn't spinning when the projector is on.

The projector will automatically stop when the temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit), and a countdown timer will appear on the screen.

If sand gets in, some of our customers have solved the problem by having a pneumatic blower from an auto repair shop blow it out.

Another customer used a compressor to solved it:
Steps taken

2 blow air in from the side
3 had a listen/feel if the fan had loosened 
4 repeat 
It only took 2 blows to fix.

Please prevent sand, hair, or other foreign objects from entering or tangling around the fan of the projector phone.

White screen & freeze when unlocking the phone

A: This issue may be caused by dual unlock modes (fingerprint + facial recognition) being enabled at the same time.When facial recognition is turned on, the device will automatically activate facial scanning as an alternative unlock method if fingerprint verification fails. This changes the unlocking process from a single step to two separate steps: fingerprint detection failure → launch facial recognition → complete identification. The extra computing steps will overload the system temporarily, resulting in lagging, freezing or a persistent white screen.
Please turn off facial recognition temporarily and check if the unlocking freeze/white screen problem disappears.

How to prevent accidental touch on the lock screen?

Please avoid touching the fingerprint sensor with any finger registered for unlock. You may also disable fingerprint vibration.
Path: Settings > Sound & vibration > Vibration & haptics > Fingerprint vibration > Toggle off.

Or : (1) Go to Settings > Smart assistance and enable “Disable pull‑down on lock screen”. (2) Go to Settings > Display and enable “Pocket mode” (if available).

How to enter the test mode?

What if screen casting lags when use the projector?

(1) Restart the TV, projector, or other large‑screen device. (2) Reset Wi‑Fi and re‑pair with the large screen. (3) Try another phone to pair with the large screen to see if lag persists. (4) Reset Wi‑Fi – casting transmits data wirelessly, so check network speed. (5) Restart your phone and re‑pair.

What if fingerprint recognition or unlock fails?

(1) Clean your finger and sensor – remove dirt, moisture, or dry skin. (2) Ensure the sensor area is not covered by a case. (3) Do not slide or press too hard. (4) Check the fingerprint switch or re‑enrol – enrol multiple fingers/areas. (5) Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Device unlock > Fingerprint & face unlock – check that “Unlock phone” is enabled. (6) In some scenarios, password is required – after reboot, after 3 days of non‑use, or after multiple failed attempts. If still not working, test hardware: dial *#*#3377#*#* > Single test > Fingerprint – check if it works.

How to enable RAM extension?

When RAM is insufficient, you can temporarily borrow some storage space to improve smoothness. (1) Go to Settings > My device > RAM – choose the extension size and restart. (2) Go to Settings > Smart assistance > Memory extension – choose the size and restart.

How to perform a local system update?

If online update is not possible, you can perform a local update with a full package. (1) Obtain an official OTA package from the website or after‑sales, store it in internal storage (do not unzip). (2) Go to Settings > About phone > System update > menu (three dots) > Local update – select the OTA package. The update may take time; you can use the device normally, and it will restart automatically after completion. Only use official OTA packages – unofficial ones may cause failure or system issues. Back up data before updating.

How to use the shortcut (FUNC) keys?

The device has one or two red side buttons, called Func1/Func2 – they are customisable multifunction keys. Options: – Control: quick toggle secondary display, camping light, flashlight, etc. – Push‑to‑talk: for walkie‑talkie apps. – Custom key: simulate Symbol/Media/Ctrl/Tab/Alt/Shift/Home/Back/Magic key. – Quick settings: assign short press, long press, double‑click to different functions/apps. For Titan series with physical keyboard, Space, Sym, Fn, and letter keys also support shortcuts: Space – can be set to answer call, end call, take photo, or return home. Letter keys – assign shortcuts to launch apps or functions.

What if the projected image is not clear?

For TANK 2 Pro, TANK 3 Pro and TANK PAD – adjust the gear knob on top. For TANK 4 and TANK 4 Pro and later – go to Settings > Projector > Projection focus fine‑tuning, use “+” or “-” (keep the device 1 metre from the screen). If still unclear, enter engineering mode: dial *#*#3377#*#* > Single test > Projector – keep 1m distance, adjust with “+”/“-” until clear, then confirm.

What if I forget the lock screen password?

Please remember your lock screen password – this device does not support password hint questions. After multiple wrong attempts, no “Forgot password” option appears – try to recall the password, paying attention to case. If you still cannot recall, the only option is to wipe data in REC mode or apply for after‑sales flashing – this clears all user data.
