30-Day Return Guarantee

You may return your product for any reason within 30 days from the date of purchase.
(For pre-sale products, the 30-day period begins from the date of shipment.)

Return Conditions

  • The product must be returned with all accessories.

  • The item must be in its original packaging.

  • The item must be free from any signs of use.

  • Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.


Warranty Period and Scope

Core Products

(rugged smartphones, rugged tablets, projectors)

Warranty Period:
12 months from the date of purchase.

Coverage:
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use conditions. It applies only to functional failures resulting from manufacturing defects.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Water damage

  • Drops or impact damage

  • Unauthorized repair or disassembly

  • Software modification, rooting, or system alteration

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Battery degradation due to normal use

  • Damage caused by improper voltage or third-party accessories


Accessories and Consumables

(e.g., chargers, data cables etc.)

Warranty Period:
1 month from the date of purchase.

Coverage:
Limited to manufacturing defects under normal use conditions. Human-induced damage is excluded.

Return and Refund Policy

1. Customer-Initiated Returns (No Product Issues)

If the product has no defects and the return is requested for personal reasons (e.g., wrong purchase, preference change, device weight, or dissatisfaction), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

A 5% restocking and payment processing fee will be deducted to cover transaction and operational costs.

The product must be returned in its original condition, including all accessories and packaging.

If a package is refused without prior authorization, original shipping costs and return shipping fees may be deducted from the refund.


2. Manufacturer-Initiated Returns (Product Issues)

If a verified product defect occurs, the customer must first contact our support team at support@8849tech.com and follow the provided return instructions.

Refunds will only be issued after the returned product has been received and inspected by our warehouse.

If the return is due to our mistake (e.g., damaged or incorrect item received), 8849 will cover the return shipping costs and no return fees will be charged.

We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.


3. Returns After 30 Days (Under Warranty)

If the product develops a defect (not caused by human factors) after 30 days but within the warranty period:

  • The customer is responsible for shipping the product back to the designated service center.

  • 8849 will cover the shipping cost of the repaired or replacement product back to the customer.


Return Process

1. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at support@8849tech.com and provide:

  • Order number

  • Reason for the return

  • Clear photos or videos (to help our engineers diagnose the issue)

If sending a video, please upload it to Google Drive, set the sharing to “Anyone with the link can view,” and send us the link.

Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product.


2. How to Return the Item

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories and components.

  • Pack the product securely to avoid damage during shipping.

  • Ship the item to the return address provided by our support team.


Order Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel an order before it has been shipped.

8849 processes orders within 1–2 business days.

If the cancellation request is made before shipping and within the allowed cancellation period stated on the website, the order can be canceled.

If the order has already been shipped but not yet received, the customer may refuse the package upon delivery. However, if refused without prior authorization, original shipping and return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.


Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the refund status.

If approved, the refund will be issued to your original method of payment.


2. Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within 1 business days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check your bank account again.

  • Contact your credit card company (it may take time before the refund is officially posted).

  • Contact your bank, as processing times can vary.
