My glass broke over the outside so I bought a replacement.
Whilst replacing the glass, I cleaned the inner lens to ensure it was clean before sticking on the outer glass.
Now the projection is blurry. What can I do to fix it?
Thanks

When the camera lens focuses, you can usually hear it, but to turn off autofocus, you need to hold your finger on the camera screen for a long time while shooting.
1) For such an operation as equipment repair, it is necessary to use a liquid that would completely evaporate, for example, pure alcohol or special liquids for cleaning parts of photographic and video equipment. But if you use, for example, colognes, then when alcohol evaporates, fats, salts and all kinds of sticky substances remain.
The moveable focusing mechanism could simply stick together if you smeared it with honey or jam.
2) The next factor may be the ingress of dust and hair from a dry cloth or cotton wool.
3) In addition, the part is energized and a short circuit may occur.

Most likely, you will have to take the device to a special service where the mechanism will be desoldered and washed in an alcohol vibrating bath and soldered again.
Personally, I tend to think that these are salt deposits on the lens from the liquid that you used for cleaning or the ingestion of micro hairs from cotton wool on the lens that you cannot see with the naked eye.
Thank you for your replies.
I used rubbing alcohol to clean the lens so it shouldn’t have left anything behind but maybe from the cotton buds.
Not every medical alcohol evaporates completely, for example, formic medical alcohol leaves behind fats and turns white after drying. You can also pay attention to the glass that you have glued, perhaps there are any defects and microcracks on it that can only be seen at a certain angle, taking into account the refraction of light. When the lens takes into account any interference, the overall picture usually becomes illuminated.
In addition, such lens flare may occur in the absence of any O-rings and gaskets that you may have forgotten to install.
