Phone off, hold up volume + turn on button, count to around 7(or when you feel a very slight buzz),
then release turn on button by sliding finger to the side while still pressing volume up until
reaching No command screen. release up volume, then push and hold turn on button and push the up volume once,
and release both, and there you go, the Recovery menu!

For installing Android Debug Bridge (ADB) on Gnulix for update in Recovery mode: sudo apt get adb

Download updates tee or eea(Europe) version, you can only upgrade with newer versions updates

Android Settings -> About Phone -> System update -> 3 dots upper right corner -> Local updates -> locate file.

Have yet to succeed in doing this, can’t even get past step one for now. Some Security nonsense I’m sure, that is usually the case.
At the moment have a wrong version installed, TEE, although running fine it has 3 upper corner words in English with some Chinese in Red.
I installed the TEE as the EEA version had a newer date, and the idea of just installing the EEA version after testing,
but apparently it could not be done as it fails to install saying the newer dated version is older and thereby will not install it.

Either my one Cell is not working or 8849 might have made a mistake on their data,
always proclaim the Watts of the battery! Using Amps are misleading!

Complains about projector heat issues around 59 degrees. (Blocking the heat output will make it close down)
Works pretty good, handles heat torture pretty nicely so far. Been running the Projector for hours and hours without issues.
How long does it take to drain the battery with the Projector full light on test?….

I’m not sure I can edit the top message, if not, I will have to repost things on a message as it goes on here.
I have also looked into DC to DC Car Chargers, although I can’t test them as I can’t get them in Europe and am a 2 grade citizen now that I have not accepted the new Tyrannic ID and everything is connected to it in Denmark, but their exist 200 Watt chargers with 21V and 5 Amp on Amazon.com!
I have tried another tester and have 2 more incoming but…. I would absolutely go for the 200 Watt, as it has 2 USB C that can do the same – not saying you need to use 200 watts, but it is nice to have a second USB C that can actually do something and not just for show and visibility. I kinda found out with the one I bought that I could not use the second USB C port for the thing I wanted as it did not have the tech for it. Although the 12 volt with USB C high watt port does charge with PPS!!!!
But…. If anyone wants a car charger for the Tank 3 Pro – try getting the 200 watt that you can get on Amazon.com and report back to the rest of us 🙂 I would buy if it I could and test it out, but alas I seem to only be able to get lower wattage versions.

I have succeeded in rooting the latest version of Android 14 by the way. And have access to the App data without issues now, no clicking game nonsense or lockdown. Just sanity accessibility.
Still there is 2 options, run Android 13 with the latest version having the Fan app, or rund Android 14 in rooted condition.
I have sorta also figure out the Battery, with all the madness going on and the problems. But overall, I am testing for the DC to DC adapters and if I could I would buy a bunch and test them out – but I can’t because of this evil madness of digital control everywhere, so it is very hard for me to buy or sell on the internet, near impossible. The only way I know, is using Paypal, for one time payments, moving money over to it from the physical bank as I do not have access to my digital bank anymore as that also runs on this new ID rubbish. But Paypal do not always work either, even if the place you are buying from have the ability to use Paypal.
Anyway…… I think the very best option is most likely the 200 watts on Amazon.com – I have seen 3 of different names, with slightly different paint markings, but it seems they are the very same product.
So…. If anyone wanna try….. Go get one of them, and let us know how they work with the Phone – or…. send one to me freely in Denmark, and I will test it out with my software. I have different test as well, that I can make with the tester software, although it does not seem I can put the images up here. I could put them on my own webpage and link to it. Maybe I will do that in the future.
In any case…. 200 watt DC to DC 2 USB C and 1 USB A – should be the very best bet to try out for the Tank phone.
Many chargers do not support PPS, so…… One have to be careful. And sometimes even if something has the tech, will make issues. Charger, Cable and the thing getting charged – need to all kinda work together.
Some times you just need to change the cable to get something to work, or work better. It is somewhat a madhouse these days, but it is how it is.

I got a second DC to DC car charger and I have not had much succeed with it, charging the Tank 3 Pro – I also made a full charge test of the one that I have that work. I can verify that the, popular Baseus 160W DC Car charger in 12 volt on USB C1 works with the Tank 3 Pro in PPS, yet the new one I got, the Acefast 165W, so far, I can’t get to charge the Tank 3 Pro in PPS.
Although I had some problems with getting the Baseus 160W charger to work as well in the beginning, not sure what was going on, I feel like I might just have done something wrong, but it could be that something in it needed to kick start as well and got it working after running 20 volt with it – knowing then from there, that the PPS worked I went back to 12 volt, and it indeed worked and works.
Although both of them, can’t work to do what I want with their secondary USB C2, even with the Acefast 165W B14 second port with 65W it does not support the 20 Volt that I need for my laptop, at least not in 12 Volt. Like…… Come on. There do seem to be some difference with the 12 and 24 volt that it support, like I did get the USB C2 port to actually work in 20 volt at one time with 20 volt USB C feeding, but it really was struggling it seemed hanging in there with around 17 volts charging my laptop. 12 volt feeding clearly does not give it enough strength to do it.
I would still love to try the 200 watt car charger on the market, as I know this unending satanic nonsense, that things some times do not work, and sometimes they do with things, one can only test and see with observation what really works, theory is one thing, but testing is another and then getting the scientific result of it.
Like does the 200 watt actually work in 12 volt for PPS charging the phone, does both ports work, can one charge 2 things close to 20 volt with 12 volt feeding. Would be interesting to try…. I would like to try it out.
Beside that a little more then 2.5 hour on the Baseus Qualcomm 5 Quick charge, which works on port USB C1 – got the Tank 3 Pro from 0 to 100. Of cause, you could stop it earlier as it goes into slow charging at the end. Overall, it seem to do pretty good. Lets check the maximum watt, give me 2 minutes. *finding the data* Maximum data point I have from that test feeding it 12 volt is 90 Watt. Maybe the second port would work for my laptop if I run it in 20 volt mode, but I think it is the tech that is missing, but overall the point is then somewhat missed on it.
By the way, even if many of these Car Chargers are sold by different companies and all, it seems like they have a common maker…. Shenzhen China
Anyway…. I will keep testing, I have one more Car charger incoming in a couple of days as far as I know. But overall, Baseus 160W seems to pretty much do the job. But really wanna test that 200 watt Car Charger if it is worth anything or not. I just need to find a place I can buy one of the versions of it by paypal in Europe.
But overall, from what I know at the moment, if you need a car charger the Baseus charger does work with the Tank 3 Pro – at least as it seems for now – I will do further testing and using it quitting the original charger for the most part as it runs on 230 volt and thereby give me a greater loss of energy from my batteries as far as I know.
Also to bear in mind, I guess, if you charge the phone, and it already have a charge, you might not even get the full PPS Charge anyway…… Like I am forcefully using the battery to do these test and emptying it out, if using it in daily life, it really takes some effort to empty the phone.
Anyway, if you have issues in charging the Tank 3 Pro by some charging device that should be able to do PPS, it might just be the Cable – the Cable can do miracles sometimes. I have some cables that stalls on one PPS charger, yet works with 2 others, and 1 cable that works with the one that does not work and one of the others, yet not the third. It is somewhat of a game of madness, and testing if it is all USB C.
But overall, I guess I am just happy that I found a device that can do PPS and charged the Tank from DC to DC – so…. I guess I have what I looked for somewhat. I think the data is 21 Volts and 5 Amps as the tester says PPS 105 Watt – although it never really reaches that high. It seems all PPS technologies never reach the amount of Watts that is numbered. Like the 63 Watt PPS does a max of 52 Watts as far as I have seen, the 120 Watts does a max of 108 Watts although normally a little lower, just a spike max Watt I have seen on it, although the phone of cause could be the culprit of charging here but do not think so, the 105 Watts does around 90 Watts max. So at the very least on the 2 that is lower then the phone can do, are both lower then the number of Watts then they say.
