TANK Pad - The First 5G Rugged Tablet with Built-in DLP Projector

1. Projection Function
For optimal projection image quality and brightness, it is recommended to use the 8849 Tank Pad rugged tablet in a dimly lit environment with a projection distance of 1.5–2 meters. Image resolution and brightness will decrease as the projection distance increases.

2. Drop Resistance Disclaimer
Although 8849 rugged tablets have passed IP68/IP69K certification tests, they are still precision electronic devices. Drop resistance may vary depending on factors such as impact angle, surface hardness, and long-term wear. It is strongly recommended to use the original protective case to enhance overall and long-term protection.

3. Water and Dust Resistance Disclaimer
Tank Pad rugged tablet is rated IP68/IP69K in accordance with the IEC 60529 international standard. Testing is conducted under controlled laboratory conditions in static fresh water (up to 1.8 meters deep for a maximum of 30 minutes). In daily use, exposure to seawater, swimming pool water, soapy water, hot water, or other liquids may reduce protective performance. Do not operate buttons or ports underwater. Water and dust resistance are not permanent and may diminish over time due to normal wear and tear.

4. Battery and Charging Safety
The built-in battery of 8849 Tank Pad rugged waterproof tablet is non-removable. Unauthorized or non-professional disassembly may damage the device and will void water/dust resistance and warranty coverage. Please use original or 8849-certified fast-charging accessories. Charging the device in extremely high or low temperatures, or while the device is wet, may activate protection mechanisms and reduce charging speed. Do not charge the device when it is wet.

5. Screen and Display
The 120Hz adaptive refresh rate automatically adjusts according to on-screen content to balance smooth performance and power consumption. Some applications or games may be limited to specific frame rates. The display uses high-strength glass with an anti-scratch coating; however, contact with sand, gravel, or sharp objects should still be avoided.

6. Storage and Expansion
The operating system and pre-installed applications occupy a portion of the total storage capacity; therefore, actual available storage is less than the nominal value. For expandable storage, it is recommended to use a UHS-I Class 10 or higher microSD card, formatted as exFAT to support large files.

7. Dimensions and Appearance
The size and weight of 8849 tablets may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances. Screen size is measured diagonally with rounded corners; the actual visible display area is slightly smaller.

8. Camera Features
Camera resolution and functions may be adjusted through software updates. Some shooting modes dynamically change resolution and frame rate. Camera startup and autofocus performance may be affected in extremely low or high temperature environments.

9. Network and Connectivity

10. Accessories and Maintenance
8849 rugged tablets are equipped with waterproof port covers. Before use, ensure all covers are fully inserted and free from wear or damage. If the device becomes wet, wipe it dry and allow it to rest briefly before charging. Do not charge immediately. Regularly clean ports and speaker openings to prevent dust accumulation that may affect performance.

11. Environmental Adaptability
Recommended Operating Temperature: 0°C–35°C (32°F–95°F). Battery performance and screen responsiveness may decrease under extreme temperature conditions. Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light or chemical solvents may affect the durability and color of the device housing.

12. Warranty Coverage
Damage caused by liquid ingress, drops, crushing, unauthorized disassembly or repair, or the use of non-original accessories is not covered under warranty.

13. Performance Disclaimer
The dynamic memory expansion (virtual RAM) feature allocates a portion of internal storage as additional system memory. Actual performance gains depend on application load and storage performance. Sufficient available storage space is required to enable this feature.

14. Durability Notice
Water, dust, and drop resistance are not permanent features. Protective performance may gradually decline due to daily wear, impacts, and aging. Do not intentionally test the device beyond its rated waterproof or drop-resistant limits.

15. Safety Reminder
These tablets are equipped with multiple built-in sensors and have been tested and validated by 8849 R&D laboratories. Long-term use in harsh environments—such as strong magnetic fields, high temperature and humidity, or heavy dust—may reduce sensor accuracy and shorten service life.
